aVAIL Yourself @ Collabor88

Once again, Hucci is participating in the monthly event called Collabor88. Just in time for the deep, cold days of winter, Eboni Khan brings you the unrigged, modify mesh Vail Boot. At just 88L each, you can buy more than one pair! Pick your boot in either white or black fur, then decide on twelve boot colors such as midnight, pink flambe, winter white, or blue chill. Being cold has never been this fashionable.

Collabor88 is usually very laggy in the first few days of the new collection (it opens the 8th of every month). I would suggest waiting a day or two for the crowds to die down. Luckily you have the whole month to check out the event. In the meantime, you can demo these boots on the marketplace by visiting the Hucci store.

On A Roll

Iconic Couture continues to release sexy, contemporary hairs for the discriminate avatar. This week saw a bevy of new releases; all completely different.

Earlier in the week, I blogged about the ‘natural collection’ of hair. These latest releases are a complete 180 as they are more styled and definitely more polished. Check out Melanie, Brenda, and Kalia- the recently released group gift.

To view all the Iconic Hairs, just TP to the main store!

Mixed Bag

Saturday’s Are Made For SL!

It’s the weekend, boy am I glad. It’s time to get in-world and grab a hold of some fashion! This weekend is going to be a mixed bag when it comes to style. A little bit of everything— some new stuff, some oldies, and some nicely mashed piece. LOL, sounds like a dinner plate doesn’t it? With designs this sweet, its bound to fill your fashion palette.

Liking Lycee

I saw a post on the feeds the other day and it reminded me that I had not been to Lycee in a long time. I had some older designs, from like a year ago, buried in the bowels of my inventory. But I wondered what was new, or rather what had I been missing? So I headed on over and was delighted to see lots of new additions to the store, including these free boots (shown below) and the wonderfully textured turtleneck (seen below).

Kind Of Blue

I have blogged about the store So Many Styles before. I find myself going there more often now, seeing what’s new. I am doing a spotlight on them soon, but for now take a peek at this adorable bolero sweater jacket and sweet babydoll. I picked it up during the 50% sale (which may still be going on).

Oldies But Goodies

I got so caught up this week, I didn’t do Double Talk. So I will post the oldies but goodies here.

IMT was a store I adored. It was one of the many shops that closed down and jumped ship to join the Armidi collective. I am not even sure which “Armidi”  Kat Palmer is or if she is even still connected to Armidi. I do recall my shopping trips to IMT with fondness and am happy I was able to experience her designs. No link here as IMT is gone, but you may see traces of Kat’s style over in Armidi– somewhere.

A Piece of Candy is a nice little shop. A very, very nice freebie section with lots of basic clothes like tanks, camies, jackets, etc., as well as skins. I believe this dress was either a group gift or a hunt find. APOC is always having a hunt of some kind. Be sure to check them out.

As I mentioned check out the sale at So Many Styles, as well as the discontinuation sale over at AnnaH. One of my favorite stores, Ibizarre, has a new release out as well as bijou. If you are still looking for New Year Lucky Bags, head on over to Curious Kitties as they have some bags selling for 1000L.

Alright kiddies, I am off to explore some more. Speaking of exploration, I have got a fun post in the wings. I’ll give you a hint… Khitt,  squeaky ears, flying elephants, and a sword. Hmm, intrigued? As always, stay tuned!!!

Until next time,
